Network marketing is really a marketing concept based on the premise of bringing new people into your network, rather than promoting the products that your organization distributes. In your marketing, you may also develop a base of customers from those who are not interested in becoming individual business owners. However, in order to be successful in homebased network marketing, you must promote the concept of business ownership rather than only sales, because sales offer only one level of income from the profits on the sale of goods. When I set this up I thought I would use an URL Rotator that would visit each site in rotation. It turns out this rotator script is a bit different though. Instead of sequential links, it provides random links. I guess it will all work out in the end though. Once a new member receives their first 2 sales, they are dropped from the rotator and the remaining new members get their chances to make sales.

As more members sign-up, I’ll also add their links to the URL Rotator. This will be a never-ending process, as older members make their sales and are dropped off and new members are added. I will limit the spots on this rotator to 12 members at a time. I don’t think it would be much good promoting 25 or 30 URLs at a time. It would take too long for everyone to get their 2 sales.

As sign-ups warrent it, I’ll build another new Team site with a separate URL Rotator. Again I’ll limit it to 12 links at a time. I already have 3 or 4 good domains registered for the next sites, and the site building should be much quicker the second time around. Well, let’s see, things are moving along really well. Prospects are flowing in and things look great! I’m using both systems - Passport To Wealth and the GRS Passport To Wealth sites.

I’ve got hundreds of optins on both sites - in the 400 range on each system. That’s roughly 800 prospects getting all our follow-up emails every day or two. Sales are coming in steadily and I’m expecting a bigger surge of sales very soon as I have so many prospects waiting in the background.

I’ve joined Bob Williams’ (our resident Marketing Guru/Team Leader) advertising co-ops as well. The first one is running already and we’re getting optins everyday. The second co-op is for Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising on a Search Engine. This one will be starting Monday and should produce good results as Bob has personally tested it before signing up.

I bought 2 spots out of the 55 available spots on his link rotator. Once this starts I might stop my Google Adwords campaign as I haven’t been impressed with the traffic there. I think it’s just a matter of too much competition there - better to go elsewhere.

How is a new member just starting out supposed to compete with the Big Dawgs and their massive advertising campaigns and cut-throat pricing? For a new member to compete, they would have to drop their sales price even lower to beat out the Big Boys. Pretty soon that EDC program will be going for $50 and they’ll throw in 6 months worth of freebies just to make a sale! Sad…

Whatever you decide to invest in, you must do your proper due diligence. Rule # 1 is make sure the investment has some actual value behind it. Obviously EDC has broken that rule by giving out such steep price discounts and under-the-table ’special deals’.

EDCGold members have even gone so far as to give the program away without the 2 required pass up sales. But wait… that destroys the power of the system!
